Drizzle! — Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 20, 2026 · Last Updated: October 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how e2partners ("e2partners," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use the Drizzle! mobile game (the "App") or any related services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The short version

  • There is no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email, or phone number.
  • The App creates an anonymous account for you automatically: a random ID, with nothing personal attached. It is shown as your Player ID in Settings.
  • Your progress and purchases are saved on your device and on our servers, under that random ID, so a new phone picks up where you left off. That record holds game state only: levels, coins, boosters, lives and what you have bought.
  • We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand how levels play and to fix crashes. You can turn this off in the App: Settings → Share usage data.
  • The App shows ads from Google AdMob: a full-screen ad between levels from level 20, and an optional video ad for a free life. Nothing about ads happens at launch. At the first ad we ask before anything is used: in the EEA and UK through Google's consent form, and everywhere through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline tracking, your advertising identifier is never read and ads still show.
  • We use TikTok's measurement SDK to learn which of our ads brought players to the App. It is off in the EEA and UK and when Share usage data is off.
  • Purchases are paid through Apple and recorded by RevenueCat, our purchase provider. We never see your payment details.

2. Who we are

e2partners is the operator of the Drizzle! App. Contact:

  • Email: hello@e2partners.co

For purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), e2partners is the data controller for personal information collected through the App.

3. Information we collect

We deliberately do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, health data, precise location, browsing history, or search history. The App has no chat, no user profiles, and no user-generated content.

3.1 Your saved game (on your device and on our servers)

The App saves your progress on the device: level progress and stars, coins, boosters, lives and their timers, streaks, album and chapter progress, daily gift and daily puzzle state, Sky League points, purchase entitlements, and your settings (sound, haptics, colour-blind mode, usage-data sharing).

The same progress is also kept on our servers, so that it survives a lost or replaced phone and so that coins and purchases cannot be altered on the device. To do that, the App signs in to Firebase Authentication anonymously the first time it runs. This creates an account identified by a random string and nothing else: no name, no email, no device identifier. That string is your Player ID, and you can see and copy it in Settings.

Held against that ID on our servers are: your level and star progress, coins, boosters, lives and their timers, streak, chests, daily gift and daily puzzle state, Sky League points, which in-app purchases you own, the App Store transaction identifiers for them, your device's time-zone offset (so daily resets happen at your midnight), and a log of the changes to your coins so we can investigate problems and abuse.

We can read this record. It tells us how far a player has got and what they bought; it does not tell us who they are.

3.2 Usage and diagnostics (Firebase)

If usage sharing is on (the default), the App sends gameplay events to Google Firebase Analytics and crash reports to Firebase Crashlytics. This includes:

  • gameplay events, such as a level starting, being won, or being lost, the reason for a loss, how far the picture was painted, boosters used, continues purchased, and which shop or offer screens were shown;
  • purchase and advertising events, such as a purchase completing or failing, an ad being requested, shown, or unavailable, and a rewarded video being completed;
  • a randomly generated app instance identifier, device model, operating system version, language, and coarse region derived from your IP address;
  • crash and error diagnostics, including stack traces and the app state at the time, such as the level you were on.

These events describe how the game is played. They are not used to identify you, and we do not combine them with any identity information, because we hold none.

3.3 Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App shows ads served by Google AdMob: an interstitial between levels from level 20, and a rewarded video you can choose to watch for a free life. Buying Remove Ads or Premium turns interstitials off.

No ad code runs at launch. At the first ad opportunity the App explains what follows, then, in the EEA and UK, shows Google's consent form (Google User Messaging Platform), and then Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change your EEA/UK choice at any time in Settings → Privacy choices.

To serve and measure ads, Google receives your device and app information (device model, operating system, language), an approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with the ads. Only if you allow tracking does it also receive your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), which can be used to show you personalised ads across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you decline, the IDFA is never read and the ads you see are not personalised with it.

3.4 Ad measurement (TikTok)

We advertise Drizzle! on TikTok. The TikTok Business SDK tells us which of those ads led to an install. It receives the app being installed and opened, purchases (product, price, and currency, from the App Store), and a few game milestones (finishing the tutorial, reaching a new level, spending coins on a booster or a life, claiming a goal), together with device and app information. It receives your advertising identifier only if you allow tracking. We send it no name, email, or Player ID. The SDK does not run in the EEA or UK, and it stops when you turn off Settings → Share usage data.

3.5 Purchases

In-app purchases are paid through Apple's App Store. RevenueCat, our purchase provider, completes each purchase on the device and keeps a record of it under your Player ID: the products you own, App Store transaction identifiers, prices and currency, and device and app information such as model, operating system, country, and app version. We use that record to restore purchases and to see how the shop performs. In addition, the App sends Apple's signed receipt for the purchase to our server, which checks the signature with Apple before granting anything, and records the transaction identifier and product so that the same purchase cannot be granted twice and so that a refund can take it back. Apple also notifies our server directly when a purchase is refunded. We never receive your card number, billing address, or Apple Account credentials.

4. How we use information

  • To run the game — saving your progress, granting purchases, restoring entitlements.
  • To improve it — seeing which levels are too hard, where players stop, and which features are used.
  • To fix it — diagnosing crashes and errors.
  • To keep it honest — deciding rewards and prices on our servers rather than on the device, so that progress and purchases cannot be forged.
  • To protect it — detecting fraud or abuse of purchases and rewards.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build profiles about you outside the App.

5. Legal bases (EEA and UK)

  • Contract — operating the game and delivering purchases you make.
  • Legitimate interests — keeping the game stable and secure, and understanding aggregate usage.
  • Consent — personalised advertising and ad measurement (asked through Google's consent form and Apple's tracking prompt), and analytics and crash reporting where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 8).

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honour this Policy.

7. International transfers

Your saved game is held on Google Cloud servers in the United States, and our other service providers process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers out of the EEA or UK rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard offered by that provider.

8. Your choices

  • Usage data — turn off Settings → Share usage data in the App. Analytics, crash reporting, and TikTok ad measurement stop, and locally held analytics data is deleted.
  • Tracking — answer Apple's tracking prompt, or change it later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Without tracking your advertising identifier is never read.
  • Ads (EEA and UK) — change your consent choice in the App: Settings → Privacy choices.
  • No ads at all — buy Remove Ads or Premium in the Shop.
  • Your saved game — email us with the Player ID from Settings and we will delete the copy held on our servers.
  • Everything — deleting the App removes the local save. The server copy is deleted on request, as above.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. In the EEA or UK you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and to delete. We do not sell personal information. If you allow tracking, your advertising identifier is shared with Google and TikTok for advertising across other companies' apps and websites, which California law may treat as "sharing"; to opt out, decline tracking or turn it off in iOS Settings as described in Section 8.

To exercise a right, email hello@e2partners.co with the Player ID shown in the App's Settings, which is how we find your saved game. For analytics and crash records, which are not connected to that ID, we may also ask for the Usage ID shown on the same screen. We will respond within the period required by law.

10. Retention

Your saved game is kept for as long as the App is in use, so that you can come back to it, and is deleted when you ask us to. Purchase records are kept for as long as we need them to honour restores and refunds and to meet Apple's and our own accounting obligations. Analytics events are retained by Firebase according to our configured retention period, by default up to 14 months, then deleted or aggregated. Crash reports are retained up to 90 days. Purchase records at RevenueCat are kept for as long as purchases need to be restorable. Google and TikTok keep advertising data under their own retention policies, linked above. Data on your device stays until you delete the App.

11. Children

The App is rated for ages 4 and up, but it is not directed to children, is not part of Apple's Kids Category, and contains third-party advertising. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the age of digital consent where you live). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

12. Security

Data sent to our service providers travels over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Because the App holds no account and no contact details, the information at risk is limited to the gameplay data described above.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
