AskUs — Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
AskUs is designed with privacy at its core. We collect minimal data to provide you with the best experience.
When you use AskUs, we may collect:
- Purchase information: purchase status managed through Apple's App Store (we do not store payment details)
- Device information: device type, operating system, app version, and device identifiers (such as IDFA, collected only with your consent via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt)
- Usage data: locally stored preferences such as saved questions, category progress, and streak count — this data is stored on your device only and is not transmitted to our servers
- Advertising and analytics data: app events such as app launches, tutorial completion, and purchases may be shared with TikTok for ad measurement and attribution, only if you consent to tracking
We do not require account creation. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, photos, or any other personal information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the AskUs Service
- Manage your purchase status and restore purchases across devices via Apple StoreKit
- Measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns via TikTok's attribution tools (only with your consent)
- Respond to support enquiries sent to hello@e2partners.co
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Local Data Storage
All app data — including your saved questions, category progress, streak count, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. This data is not uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third-party platform.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data will be permanently removed from your device.
4. Purchase Data
Purchase status is verified through Apple's StoreKit 2 and RevenueCat (a third-party purchase management service). We do not have access to your payment card details, billing address, or any financial information. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. RevenueCat processes only anonymous purchase status data to manage entitlements.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data.
The third-party services integrated in AskUs are:
- Apple: for in-app purchase processing and purchase verification
- RevenueCat: for purchase management and entitlement verification (processes anonymous purchase status only)
- TikTok Business SDK: for advertising attribution and campaign measurement (only active if you consent to tracking via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt)
If you decline the tracking prompt, no data is shared with TikTok. You can change your tracking preference at any time in your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
6. Data Retention
Since AskUs does not collect or transmit personal data to any server, there is no personal data retained on our end. All user data exists solely on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.
7. Children's Privacy
AskUs is not directed to children under the age of 13. The app contains content of a mature or suggestive nature intended for adults in romantic relationships. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
- Access to your personal data
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your data
- Objection to certain processing
Since AskUs does not collect or store personal data on any server, there is no data for us to provide, correct, or delete. All data is controlled locally on your device.

9. Security
All user preferences and progress are stored locally on your device. Purchase transactions are handled securely by Apple through their encrypted payment infrastructure. Any data transmitted to third-party services (RevenueCat, TikTok) is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or our website. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
